New York City  is adopting  regulations that require vehicle markings that are 
 slightly different from those now in effect. See following outline:
 
          ALL COMMERCIAL VEHICLES MUST DISPLAY THE REGISTRANTS NAME, 
           CITY & STATE, PERMANENTLY AFFIXED IN CHARACTERS AT LEAST 
         THREE INCHES HIGH, ON BOTH SIDES OF THE VEHICLE, WITH SUCH 
                 DISPLAY BEING IN A COLOR CONTRASTING WITH THAT OF THE VEHICLE, 
       AND PLACED MIDWAY ON DOORS OR SIDE PANELS. ALSO, ALL 
    VEHICLES MUST DISPLAY A USDOT NUMBER. AND G.V.W.
 The rules apply to vehicles over 10,001 lbs, effective July 1,2006, 
 and to vehicles  over 18001 lbs, effective July 5, 2005.
 LEASED VEHICLES  ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE THE LESSOR AND LESSEE 
 INFORMATION DISPLAYED, AND EACH MUST BE PRECEEDED BY EITHER "OWNED BY" OR "LEASED TO."
